The ambassador series is a durable, attractive steel cabinet with powder-coat finish that stands up to conditions in commercial buildings. Door and Trim are cold rolled steel with white powder-coated finish. The cabinet doors are attached with a continuous hinge and equipped with zinc-plated handle and roller catch. Comes with SAF-T-LOK™ theft-deterrent keyed cylinder lock. This lock can be used instead of a break glass lock lever. Cabinets with SAF-T-LOK™ lock appear to be locked and in fact are, but the door can be opened with a sharp pull which breaks the replaceable plastic cam. This deters theft and vandalism and allows quick access to the extinguisher. Replacement cams can be ordered. All models have 1-3/4" trim on face and door. The door is a Vertical Duo Style of clear acrylic glass. Semi-Recessed Cabinet and handle protrude 3-3/4" from the surface. The tub is constructed of cold rolled steel with white powder-coat finish standard.

The 1017W10comes with clear acrylic glazing standard.  The 1017W17 comes with clear tempered glass glazing (optional above).  The 1017W18 comes with laminated safety glass glazing (optional above).
