The ambassador series is a durable, attractive steel cabinet with powder coat finish that stands up to conditions in commercial buildings. Door and trim are cold rolled steel with white powder coated finish. The cabinet doors are attached with a continuous hinge and equipped with zinc plated handle and roller catch. Comes with SAF-T-LOK™ theft-deterrent keyed cylinder lock. This lock can be used instead of a break glass lock lever. Cabinets with SAF-T-LOK™ lock appear to be locked and in fact are, but the door can be opened with a sharp pull which breaks the replaceable plastic cam. This deters theft and vandalism and allows quick access to the extinguisher. Replacement cams can be ordered. Recessed flat with 3/8" trim. The door comes with full panel of clear acrylic glass. Handle protrudes 5/8" from the surface. The tub is constructed of cold rolled steel with white powder coat finish standard.

The 1017G10 comes with clear acrylic glazing standard. The 1017G17 comes with clear tempered glass glazing (optional above). The 1017G18 comes with laminated safety glass glazing (optional above). The 1017G13 comes with clear wire glass glazing (optional above).
