JL Ambassador 1016W10 Semi-Recessed 10 lbs. Fire Extinguisher Cabinet with Lock
The Ambassador series 1016W10 is a durable, attractive steel cabinet with powder-coat finish that stands up to conditions in commercial buildings. Door and Trim are cold rolled steel with white powder-coated finish. The cabinet doors are attached with a continuous hinge and equipped with zinc-plated handle and roller catch. Comes with SAF-T-LOK™ theft-deterrent keyed cylinder lock. This lock can be used instead of a break glass lock lever. Cabinets with SAF-T-LOK™ lock appear to be locked and in fact are, but the door can be opened with a sharp pull which breaks the replaceable plastic cam. This deters theft and vandalism and allows quick access to the extinguisher. Replacement cams can be ordered. All models have 1-3/4" trim on face and door. The door is a vertical duo style door. Semi-Recessed Cabinet protrudes 1-1/2" from the surface and the handle protrudes an additional 5/8". The tub is constructed of cold rolled steel with white powder-coat finish standard.
The Ambassador series 1016 comes with a standard pull handle and can be replaced with a Futura “Fire” Handle Cast Aluminum (optional above) or the ADAC Recessed Pull Handle (optional above). There is a lead-time added to the order when the ADAC Recessed Pull Handle is added to the cabinet.
