The Academy Series is a Durable, Attractive Aluminum Cabinet that Stands up to Conditions in Commercial Buildings. Door and Trim are clear anodized aluminum. Cabinet doors are attached by a continuous hinge and equipped with zinc-plated handle and roller catch. Comes with SAF-T-LOK™ theft-deterrent keyed cylinder lock. This lock can be used instead of a break glass lock lever. Cabinets with SAF-T-LOK™ lock appear to be locked and in fact are, but the door can be opened with a sharp pull which breaks the replaceable plastic cam. This deters theft and vandalism and allows quick access to the extinguisher. Replacement cams can be ordered. All models have 1-3/4" trim on face and door. Semi-Recessed 3" Rolled trim. Vertical Duo Door Glazing with clear acrylic glass. Cabinet and handle protrude 3-3/4" from the surface. The tub is constructed of cold rolled steel with white powder-coat finish.

The 1027W10 comes with clear acrylic glazing standard.  The 1027W17 comes with clear tempered glass glazing (optional above).  The 1027W18 comes with laminated safety glass glazing (optional above).  The 1027W13 comes with wire glass glazing (optional above).
