JL Cosmopolitan Stainless Steel 2035L22-FX2™ Recessed 20 lbs. Fire Rated Fire Extinguisher Cabinet with Lock

The Cosmopolitan Series is a Modern, Clean Look Stainless Steel Cabinet. Door and Trim are #4 stainless steel. Flush cabinet doors have a 5/8" door stop and are attached by a continuous hinge with a zinc-plated handle and roller catch. Comes with SAF-T-LOK™ theft-deterrent keyed cylinder lock. This lock can be used instead of a break glass lock lever. Cabinets with SAF-T-LOK™ lock appear to be locked and in fact are, but the door can be opened with a sharp pull which breaks the replaceable plastic cam. This deters theft and vandalism and allows quick access to the extinguisher. Replacement cams can be ordered. All models have 1-3/4" trim on face and door. The door is a solid stainless steel. Handle protrudes 5/8 " from the surface. The tub is constructed of cold rolled steel with white powder-coat finish standard.

Fire-Rating: The recessed and semi-recessed Fire-FX2™ cabinets are tested to maintain one and two hour fire-rated wall barriers, in accordance with ANSI/UL-1479 (ASTM E814 and ULC/CAN S115) for membrane and penetration firestrops. Installation instructions must be strictly adhered to in order to obtain the fire rating. The installation of any fire-rated cabinet which lacks a cabinet door or a condition in which the door is left ajar, will void the fire rating.
