JL Ambassador 1012V10-FX2™ Fire Rated Semi-Recessed 10 lbs. Fire Extinguisher Cabinet

The Ambassador Steel FX2™ Fire-Rated series is a durable, attractive steel cabinet with powder-coat finish that stands up to conditions in commercial buildings. Door and Trim are cold rolled steel with white powder-coated finish. The cabinet doors are attached with a continuous hinge and equipped with zinc-plated handle and roller catch. All models have 1-3/4" trim on face and door. This is a vertical duo style door with clear acrylic glazing. Semi-Recessed Cabinet and ADAC flush pull handle protrude 4" from the surface. The double tub is constructed of cold rolled steel with white powder-coat finish standard. The tub forms a flange to cover cut edges of wallboard material. Fire-resistant material is sandwiched between the layers of steel.

Fire-Rating: The recessed and semi-recessed Fire-FX2™ cabinets are tested to maintain one and two hour fire-rated wall barriers, in accordance with ANSI/UL-1479 (ASTM E814 and ULC/CAN S115) for membrane and penetration firestops. Installation instructions must be strictly adhered to in order to obtain the fire rating. The installation of any fire-rated cabinet which lacks a cabinet door or a condition in which the door is left ajar, will void the fire rating.

The 1012V10-FX2™ comes with clear acrylic glazing standard. The 1012V17-FX2™ comes with clear tempered glass glazing (optional above)
