The Ambassador Steel FX2™ is a durable, attractive steel cabinet with powder coat finish that stands up to conditions in commercial buildings. Door and trim are cold rolled steel with white powder coated finish. The cabinet doors are attached with a continuous hinge and equipped with zinc plated handle and roller catch. All models have 1-3/4" trim on face and door. The door is a Solid Door Style of clear acrylic glass. Comes with SAF-T-LOK™ theft deterrent keyed cylinder lock. This lock can be used instead of a break glass lock lever. Cabinets with SAF-T-LOK™ lock appear to be locked and in fact are, but the door can be opened with a sharp pull which breaks the replaceable plastic cam. This deters theft and vandalism and allows quick access to the extinguisher. Replacement cams can be ordered. Recessed Cabinet and handle protrude 1-1/8" from the surface. The tub is constructed of cold rolled steel with white powder coat finish standard.

The 2015G10-FX2 comes with clear acrylic glazing standard. The 2015G17-FX2 comes with clear tempered glass glazing (optional above). The 2015G18-FX2 comes with laminated safety glass glazing (optional above).

Fire-Rating: The recessed and semi-recessed Fire-FX2™ cabinets are tested to maintain one and two hour fire-rated wall barriers, in accordance with ANSI/UL-1479 (ASTM E814 and ULC/CAN S115) for membrane and penetration firestrops. Installation instructions must be strictly adhered to in order to obtain the fire rating. The installation of any fire-rated cabinet which lacks a cabinet door or a condition in which the door is left ajar, will void the fire rating.
