Make-Up Mirrors
Make-up Mirrors are used for more than just applying make-up - they make shaving, tweezing and many grooming routines much easier and more accurate. Thus making you feel more confident knowing that you can see your face in correct lighting for color accuracy. Look for a mirror that has 5X or higher magnification to use for routines such as applying make-up and tweezing. If you are applying makeup to eyes without your eye glasses you would want to find a mirror that provides higher magnification like 8X magnification to better see what you are doing.
Wall Mounted Make-up Mirrors
There are several different styles of wall mounted make-up mirrors. You can choose from lighted wall mounted make-up mirrors or non-lighted make-up mirrors. These make-up mirrors are perfect for hotels and spas and even in your home guest or master bath or anywhere you would be applying makeup. Many hotels and spas choose a direct wired lighted makeup mirror as this eliminates extra plugs and keeps the vanity area clean and clutter free. A direct wired makeup mirror also reduces the risk of theft as the mirror is mounted and directly wired into the wall. Plug-In Wall Mounted Makeup Mirrors
The plug in wall mounted lighted make up mirrors are just like the direct wired make-up mirrors except they plug in to an existing electrical outlet. This can make for an easy install in a person master bath or guest bathroom. There is no need to hire an electrician to install these mirrors, just plug-in and you are done. Non-Lighted Wall Mounted Mirrors
Non-Lighted Wall Mounted Make-up Mirrors are a great all around mirror. When you don't have an outlet or don't have the need for a direct wired make-up mirror, a non-lighted mirror gives you a place to apply makeup and groom with magnification and accuracy. Bradley offers their boutique series mirror model 9181 which has 3:1 magnification and a dual-sided swivel design. The Jerdon JP2027N is a unique mirror in that it extends 20" for hands free make-up application and grooming. This mirror offers 1X and 7X magnification. The classic series Jerdon Model JP7506BZ is a simple and elegant wall mirror that has 1X and 5X magnification. This mirror matches all décor and gives you and your guests a place to apply make-up flawlessly.
There are several othr make-up mirrors on the market that are not wall mounted. These are considered vanity mirrors and are great for traveling or using in at a vanity or table. They are perfect if you have the space and like to sit while grooming. They come in lighted and non-lighted versions and many have different styles of lighting to replicate the office lights or day time lighting or evening lighting. The Jerdon model JGL10W is a trifold design that offers panoramic view with a convenient AC outlet. A nice vanity lighted mirror is the LED lighted HL8505NL this is a 1X and 8X magnification 12" height mirror with long lasting LED bulbs. Jerdon deluxe Lighted Mirror JGL9W has four color correct lighting selections and 5X to 1X magnification. The center mirror swivels and the side mirrors are adjustable for panoramic views.
