The JL RSLP-Y extendable ladder safety post powder coat yellow is a spring
balanced ladder safety post designed to provide safe entry and exit assistance
at roof hatches or floor door openings. It helps users transition on and
off fixed vertical access ladders in a more secure standing position and ships
fully assembled for quick installation.
The RSLP-Y mounts directly to the
top two ladder rungs using included U-bolts and fits round or square rungs with
spacing between 10" and 12". Its built-in counterbalance spring allows
one-handed extension, while a positive mechanical latch secures the post
upright. Important: the top loop is intended only for raising and lowering
the post and is not suitable for fall arrest harness attachment.
