Men want a safe and clean place to change their children's diapers

When adding baby changing stations to your public restrooms it is important to add baby changing stations to both the men's and women's restrooms. Dad's are changing diapers more than ever and they want changing tables in men's rooms

California lawmakers are looking to change the status quo and require baby changing stations in all men's room. Two bills are expected to go pass and go into law shortly requiring that baby changing stations are put in men's public restrooms. Many nationwide businesses already put baby changing stations in men's rooms including some restrauant chains and home improvement stores.

Men and women both are speaking up and letting businesses know they want equal diaper duty treatment for both mother's and fathers. Father's are changing diapers and they want a safe place to take care of the diaper changing task. Men take their children out to stores and many are stay at home dads, when their child needs changing what's a dad to do?

Miami City Commisioners voted in 2012 to put baby changing stations in city men's rooms. Many men are looking at having baby changing stations in men's rooms as not only a convenience but an equal rights issue. Men want a safe and clean place to changing their children. In 1994, a New York father filed a lawsuit against Lord & Taylor Department store for the lack of baby changing stations in men's rooms versues having changing stations in women's restrooms.

Businesses are no longer looking at having baby changing tables in men's rooms as "good to have" and they now look at these changing tables in men's rooms as "need to have".

Men and women both are requesting equal baby changing duty. It's time to put baby changing tables in both men's and women's restrooms. Do you agree?
