Each mail slot comes complete with matching door flaps on both sides. The Exterior flap is spring-loaded to insure no rain or wind get in. The Interior flap closes with gravity. Installation hardware in matching finish is included with the Mail Slots. An optional Stainless Steel Sleeve is also available to purchase for the inside of the door. Installation Hardware on the sleeve is concealed after the Mail Slot is installed. Installation is quick and easy to enhance the overall appearance of any Entryway. Brass Accents Mail Slots are designed to be used on either wood or metal doors.
The Polished Brass finish is solid brass that is polished and lacquer coated to prevent tarnishing over time.
